Our heavy duty throttle cable is superior in many ways. A nylon interior insures smooth operation, its just 5" longer to reach without kinking, and a soldered end will not unravel. Keep a spare! As they age they tend to bind and every time you remove and reattach it to the carb the end gets more raggedy; I usually replace mine when I have the opportunity. If the trunnion (that little bolt with the hole that holds the carb end) is battered or lost the replacement part is ACC5062.
