CLUTCH LEVER ARM SHORT VERTO

Check the ball end for wear The late model Minis were converted over to a much smoother operating clutch setup. The 'verto' clutch as it is called also uses a different and much shorter arm in the flywheel housing.This Verto type clutch arm is 2.75"long from the clevis pin hole.The earlier pre vert type is over 6"(165mm)long. The ball wears on both types and if the clutch is wrongly adjusted the arm (mainly the long type) can bend by way of hydraulic pressure.
