REVERSE SWITCH REMOTE TYPE

Early model, fits 3 and 4-synchro gearboxes except for rod change types which use GAE191. This switch replaces the plug on the front of the remote-shift transmission case. It is triggered internally by the shift linkage when reverse is selected. This must be fitted with an insulating fibre washer and a small plug 22G351 in the gearbox to activate the switch---the original washer 2K7914 is no longer available but 1B3664 can be used although the internal hole is slightly to large.Regret that 22G351 plunger is not available at this time DEC2007 but it is purely a piece of dowel 0.463 thou 11.7mm (just under 1/2")long and 3.4mm or 0.136 thou wide.
